What this list covers and how to read it.
The list covers plastic surgeons recorded for the Nashville metro (Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Sumner, Wilson, Maury counties). It is not limited to Nashville city limits.
Counted sources on the numbered part of this list include Newsweek. A star mark or a review total is shown only when the research file records that exact figure.
A numbered row is an editorial order, not a paid position. 7 businesses appear under Also serving the area.
Last updated: October 2026.
This order uses only the research file. Each business has a source count: how many distinct independent publishers were counted. Best Law Firms and individual Best Lawyers listings count as one publisher. Higher source counts come first. A numbered rank requires a source count of at least 1. Other counted sources, including Expertise.com, change that count and do not add a separate strength step.
When source counts match, recorded recognitions break the tie. Best Law Firms Tier 1 ranks above Tier 2, and more Tier 1 rankings rank above fewer. A larger set of recorded tier rankings ranks above a smaller set when the best tier and the Tier 1 count match. Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers listings are next: a full Super Lawyers selection or a Best Lawyers listing outranks Rising Stars and Ones to Watch, and more names outrank fewer. A Newsweek listing is next, and a higher star mark recorded on that Newsweek listing outranks a lower one. A Vault Law 100 rank is next, with a lower rank number ahead of a higher one. Anything still tied follows the research notes' suggested order, then the business name. Avvo review figures are shown when the file records an exact total, and they are not a further tie-break.
A source count of 0 is not a negative mark. Those businesses are under Also serving the area, A to Z, with no number and no score. Sponsored blocks, paid directory placements, and awards that appear only on a business's own site are not counted. Rank on this page is not for sale. There is no featured-partner placement and no composite score.
Higher counts of distinct independent publishers come first. One counted source is enough for a numbered rank.
Ties break on Best Law Firms tier, then Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers listings, then Newsweek, then Vault Law 100.
Remaining ties follow the research notes' suggested order, then the business name. Avvo totals are not a tie-break.
Zero counted sources means an alphabetical listing with no number and no score. Rank is not paid.
Rank on this page is not for sale. If a business in this metro is missing, or a recorded fact needs an update, use the listing form. Editorial review decides what is included.
